CHAD hosts or is the beneficiary of the following annual fundraising events:

  • CHAD Bartender Fundraising Event
  • When: Various times throughout the year to be announced.
  • Where:  Restaurant locations throughout DuPage and Kane counties; please check our website for further details.
  •  This event features a celebrity guest bartender to help raise money and awareness of CHAD throughout the community. Please tip generously. All tip proceeds, along with a percentage of the bar receipts are donated to CHAD.
  • DuPage Human Race
  • When: April 26, 2014
  • Where: The Esplanade at Locust Point,  1901 Butterfield Rd., Downers Grove, IL
  •  This event is a 5k Run/Fitness walk hosted by Giving DuPage to celebrate, support and raise awareness for non-profit organizations serving DuPage County. CHAD is a registered participant.
  • CHAD "Putt for Affordable Housing" Miniature Golf Outing
  • This event has been cancelled and will be rescheduled in 2015.
  • CHAD Uncorked Wine Tasting & Benefit Auction
  •  When: November 7, 2014
  •  Where: Katherine Legge Lodge, Hinsdale, IL
  • This event is one of CHAD’s signature fundraising events held in a casual atmosphere to help raise funds for operations and build awareness of the organization. The event features a sampling of different wines that are paired with delicious hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and raffle, along with other wine-themed activities. Please check the website for further details on our 2nd annual event to be held in November 2014.
